Question
I get no audio on video playback, why ?
Answer

First ensure that your system audio is properly configured: try to play an audio file (MP3 or WAV file, CD track…) in media player.

If your system configuration is fine, take a look at the volume slider in Pixbend Player control panel: it may be currently set at inaudible level.

Finally, verify that the movie you are trying to play actually contains an audio stream: open movie in DMV Player (stop it if auto-play is turned on) and then check number of available audio tracks in File Menu->Properties-> Stream Tab->Audio Section; there should be at least one.
